The Anglo Files: A field guide to the British by Sarah Lyall

The Anglo Files: A Field Guide to the British by Sarah Lyall.

A thoroughly entertaining read (apart from some slight queasiness in the chapter on British teeth). It recalled some of the quirks I experienced firsthand growing up in a British-run institution. There are certain British characteristics that never change! And there is still a wide gulf between Britain and America. Written by an American who married an Englishman, and procreated, it is a wry, witty work, perfect for the Anglophile in your life.
